The Filipino Veterans Recognition and Education Project is a national initiative to obtain
recognition of Filipino and American WWII soldiers across the United States and the Philippines
for their wartime service to the U.S. and the Philippines from July 26, 1941 to December 31,
1946.

The Bataan Legacy Historical Society works to instill civic pride and engagement in young
adults through the lessons of WWII in the Philippines from the perspectives of Filipino and
American military and civilians.

The Filipino American National Historical Society aims to promote understanding, education,
enlightenment, appreciation and enrichment through the identification, gathering, preservation
and dissemination of the history and culture of Filipino Americans in the United States.

If you have documents, images, or personal recollections about this history, please consider
sharing them so they can be preserved for future generations. You might consider contacting
your local historical society, the National Pinoy Archives of the Filipino American National
Historical Society, or the Library of Congress Veterans History Project, among many others.
